THE WORK CHANGES, THE THINKING STAYS
I've worked in large companies, agencies, and startups, and what I've learned is that I do my best work when I own the full loop. From first principles to shipped product, from brand identity to conversion strategy. No handoffs, no silos, just end-to-end.
2019
Idealo, the beginning
Joined Idealo at the intersection of content and SEO, optimizing pages, structuring information, and designing landing pages, and noticed how differently search engines and users read the same page. That tension, plus a forever pull toward editorial design and beautiful UI, sent me into UX.
2022
My first product team
Moved into my first pure UX Designer role within Idealo and got certified as a Scrum Product Owner to sit at the table where roadmap and priority decisions actually happen, weighing user needs against business KPIs, not just receiving what's already been scoped. Finally, I was part of the team moving the needle.
2024
Agency speed, startup stakes
After four years growing Idealo, I joined Finmas, where I got the chance to shape B2C banking flows and internal tools for Sparkasse at an agency pace. Weeks later, I started at ToysReloved as a Product Designer, owning the shop experience, CMS, email, and social media, backing every roadmap call with data, and working shoulder to shoulder with the founder.
2026
Narrowing focus, AI as leverage strategy
Wrapped up Finmas to focus fully on ToysReloved, going deep instead of wide, and leaning all the way into orchestrating AI across the whole loop. As a solo product designer in the company, I've moved more into a manager role, where AI supports me in running research, automating processes, and creating prototypes to test ideas very fast. One person running at team-sized output.
MY JOURNEY
Born in Madrid, with Mexican roots and a bit of German blood thrown in. Growing up between cultures taught me early that there are always multiple ways to see the same thing.
I studied linguistics and moved to Germany in 2015, and I've lived in Hamburg, Cologne, Regensburg, and Berlin ever since. Getting into product design wasn't a plan; it was a pull: I kept listening to product teams talk about what they'd built and why, until something clicked. I didn't want to admire it from the outside anymore; I wanted to be part of it, right at the point where a problem becomes a solution someone actually uses. That's just how I'm wired: I'm the person in the room who makes things happen.
Outside of work, I'm usually at a concert, watching a film, or deep in a book. Lately I've been putting serious energy into pilates and padel, and during the summer I try on a new personality as a surfer.
